Garrett and I are working on our next film, but it’s light-years more complex than our last three. It’s going to involve turning it up a few notches. We’re going to cast, location-scout, get a crew, use lights and, gasp, shoot outside of our apartments. We’re working out the script now. Our last three movies were all written in one gust of effort and were never revised once after the initial draft. (Actually, “Glass” went through one revision but only to clean it up a bit). This time around we’re writing collaboratively. Garrett’s writing drafts, I’m giving feedback and at some point I may do a draft. So far it’s been a fun process.
No More Apartment Movies
Another way to put it is we’re done fucking around. We proved we can get our act together and make a movie. That was the point with the last three. Now we want to really make a movie. It’ll probably be 15-25 minutes. It’ll be as long or short as it takes to be good. As far as releasing it online, that’s one gigantic QuickTime file. We’re exploring our options. Ideally we’d love to put up a compressed DVD disc image which you guys could download and burn. I don’t know if we’ll have a streaming version, it really depends on whether or not we can have a reasonably sized file that still maintains a high level of quality.

Hello, my name is Shawn. This is where I put things. This site has been active since 2002. A lot has changed since then but basically I'm still writing ridiculous articles about ridiculous things. You can also look at my
